One craving, made from scratch
Rance Ruiz couldn't find stuffed pizza back home in SoCal — so he learned to make it himself. Everything here traces back to that original obsession.
The craving
Visiting his older sister in college, Rance discovered Chicago stuffed pizza and was hooked from the first slice. Back home in Orange County, it simply didn't exist — so he set out to make it.
The first pie
At eighteen, Rance made his first pizza in his parents' kitchen — testing recipes until the crust, sauce, and cheese were exactly what he'd been chasing.
Made from scratch, every day
Dough, sauce, and salad dressings are all made from scratch, every day. No shortcuts — quality food has always been the number one priority.
Three styles, two neighborhoods
Today Rance's serves Stuffed, Pan, and Tavern-Style Thin pizzas at two SoCal locations — Costa Mesa and Belmont Shore in Long Beach.
